WEETS is specifically targeted at optimizing new digital opportunities for women. The annual conference brings together women from all sectors of the economy to unlearn relearn, and learn. To also deliberate on a contemporary theme with a wide range of topical issues that are relevant to women in Technology, business, corporate, and public and development sectors as published in TechEconomy.

5. AfricaTech Festival

The Africa Tech Festival is one of the year’s main tech event in Sub-Saharan Africa and hence a possible barometer of COVID recovery. If you had to attend only one international tech convention in Sub-Saharan Africa for a few years, it was AfricaCom.

Now that AfricaCom and AfricaTech have merged to form the AfricaTech Festival, the event’s standing has been enhanced, with organizers claiming that 90% of booths on the exhibit floor have already been reserved.
